Dear Friends, 

Praise the Lord!   Our Christ Church evangelistic team has just returned from the United Kingdom where we held the Laser ‘08 Crusade at the  Emmanuel Centre in London. Just two blocks from the Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. God truly met us there Over 500 attended the Healing and Deliverance Service on Friday the 7^th of March and more than  800 attending the Holy Ghost rally on Saturday the 8^th. These are the largest crowds ever in a United Pentecostal event in the London and south District. Bishop Leroy Francis was very pleased with the results of the intense evangelistic campaign conducted by all the churches in this area. 1000’s of cards given out, prayer walks and meetings, and adverts on radio and TV, brought results not only in the Emmanuel Centre but in the participating churches they have all reported enthusiastic response to their effort. 

We are so happy to report many dozens healed and 60-70 receiving the Holy Ghost for the first time in these 2 days. Also 12 were baptized  in Jesus Name at the crusade. By Sunday Churches reported 14 more being baptized and many victory reports of Holy Ghost baptisms, healings and renewals in the Lord at the crusade. I wept on Sunday as I heard the testimonies of young and older telling of the reality of this wonderful gift. It was worth every effort Christ Church and the London and South District put forth. We were with Bishop Leroy and Sis. Olive Francis and their great congregation at Life Tab London for their 36^th Anniversary God has his favor on that faithful congregation what glorious celebrations we shared in worship and preaching. Much rejoicing over the harvest brought a happy conclusion of our 3 day effort with balloons falling from the ceiling. You just had to be there to feel the excitement. I might mention their church held a Holy Ghost party conducted by Bro. Joe Cooney and others and brought a London double Decker bus to the Crusade with 79 souls wanting to receive from the Lord a very unique form of evangelism. It was tremendous.

I must say a deep thanks to the team that accompanied Sis. Kris and  I.  Our son Jon Paul and daughter-in-law Crystal McDaniel and their children, Jon Paul II & Kristen, Frank and Charlene Bratcher and Kara their Daughter. Zedekiah and Christina Hernandez. These good people not only helped finance the crusade along with Christ Church but paid their own expenses to participate. Thank you to them and Jesus for their Love for souls.

On Sunday Bro. Jon Paul and Sis. Crystal ministered in Islington Church pastored by Pastor Jimmy Austin, a powerful growing church on the northeast side of London. And Bro. Zedekiah and Sis. Christina ministered at Plumstead on the southeast side with Pastor Easington and his church. They had more results and testimonies of the mighty work of God being done on this special weekend. Our team had so many experiences of praying with people to receive the Holy Ghost it was thrilling.

We were able to take the team to Paris for 2 days break and to visit with our AIM’er Justin Ward who is helping with the Church in Melun, France and starting a church in Hamburg, Germany we were so happy to be able to share fellowship with him.

We concluded our trip with Glasgow, Scotland where we visited our wonderful friends Missionaries  Robert and Jerolyn Kelley and New Life Church & Bible School. The Edinburgh, Falkirk, and Stirling, churches joined us for a service on Sunday. We were blessed again with the anointed worship and the Lord touching many souls. We are so happy to see the growth and blessing of the Lord in honor to our missionaries’ faithful work in the land of Scotland.

Three very notable confirmations from the Lord, our team was walking through Harrods’s and a well dressed lady in a full length mink coat stepped up to me and said “Are you a Christian?” I said “yes” She said “You’re group walked by my friends and I, and we said those people glow with the Holy Ghost” what a joy to know the light of Jesus shines in this dark world. The second, our team and I were in a fish and chips shop, with only one other customer. Jon Paul II said “Papa invite that man to the crusade,” and we did. At the conclusion of our meal the owner came out and said “you’re meal was paid for” We asked “who paid?” And the man spoke “I did not want you to know but I cannot attend the crusade this evening but I am a Christian and the Lord spoke to me and said “You bless them and I will bless you” Praise the Lord.

The third testimony was a lady had come to London for a holiday and someone gave her a card inviting her to Laser 08. She was from Sunderland, in NE England. The Pastor Charley Thompson from Sunderland made a special trip to the crusade to be a part. The Lady received the Holy Ghost that night and said” she had come to London to find a church” she was standing just a few feet from the pastor. Her home is just 2 miles from his church. Is our God AWESOME?

So many good and powerful things happened I know how the writer of the book of ACTS and John felt, “He’s Done so much for me I cannot tell it all.”

PS: My wife is a trooper, She went on this trip 3 days after having a heart cath and having a 4^th stint put in. She went in Jesus Name She is doing well. She had worked so hard to put all the schedule and travel together We just had to go and trust God to take care of her and Our wonderful Lord Jesus kept His hand on her. Praise the Lord!
